Teacher of Design Technology

Required: September 2022

We are seeking to recruit a well-qualified and highly motivated DT practitioner to join our outstanding and high performing curriculum area.  This post is open to ECTs looking to begin their career at an Outstanding and World Class School or for experienced teachers.  We welcome applications from all suitably qualified professionals for full or part time working.

Teacher of Media and Film Studies

Required: September 2022

Food Technician

Required: July 2022

We are seeking to recruit a well-qualified and highly motivated Food Technician to support the department and to work with groups of students or provide 1:1 support within the classroom and as part of extra-curricular clubs and activities.  Duties will include preparation of resources for practical cookery and supporting with demonstrations as well as maintaining stock, equipment and hygiene standards.

Professional Development at Weatherhead

For all staff there is an extensive bespoke support and professional development programme.  As a Centre of Excellence for Leadership we provide specialist courses for NQTs right through to Senior Leadership development opportunities. We also focus as a school on Leadership in the classroom where our priority is all aspects of Teaching and Learning.
