We are seeking to recruit a well-qualified and highly motivated practitioner to enhance our outstanding and high performing curriculum area teaching across Key Stages 3 & 4 and potentially A Level for the right candidate.  This post is open to NQTs and experienced teachers.

Careers Manager (Maternity Cover)

Required: June 2021

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our World Class School as a Careers Manager to cover a maternity leave for one year.  This crucial role working with our students ensures they reach their full potential in school and supports them in preparing for their journey beyond Weatherhead.  Working closely with the Assistant Headteacher (Achievement) we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic professional to lead and manage on all aspects of Careers Guidance and Education, which is a real strength of our school.

Professional Development at Weatherhead

For all staff there is an extensive bespoke support and professional development programme.  As a Centre of Excellence for Leadership we provide specialist courses for NQTs right through to Senior Leadership development opportunities. We also focus as a school on Leadership in the classroom where our priority is all aspects of Teaching and Learning.
