There are approximately 1540 students on roll, including an excellent mixed Sixth Form with nearly 300 students. Our students are hardworking, extremely talented and keen to learn. Underpinning all aspects of school life are the values of ‘resilience, respect, reach and reward’. These values, combined with our highly effective teachers and excellent facilities, ensure our students are provided with the best opportunities to become successful young people and adults. The school employs over 180 dedicated teachers and support staff who are proud to work in our inclusive and truly comprehensive school. We were judged to be an Ofsted ‘Good’ provider in our inspection in November 2022. During the inspection, inspectors commented that ‘Weatherhead High School is a happy and friendly learning community. Pupils, students in the Sixth Form and staff are proud to belong to this school. Relationships between staff and pupils are strong’.
