Weatherhead Students Celebrate A Level Successes Breaking New Records!
Weatherhead High School celebrated excellent results for A Level students with a 42% pass rate A*-B, 72% A*-C and a 98% pass rate for all students (A*-E). A record-breaking 25 A*s were achieved, more than double the amount achieved last year.
Students have coped extremely well with the new very challenging A Level examinations and they have once again out–performed expectation and risen to the challenge. Nearly 100 students have secured places at university and many of these places are at leading Russell Group institutions.
Setting a new Weatherhead record, the following 8 students achieved A*/As in all subjects – Jessica Hesketh, Stephanie Goodsell, Charlotte Egan, Lucy Emery, Eleanor McCarthy, Alexandra Collins, Jacey Hesketh and Elleanor Lloyd – a truly outstanding achievement.
