Big Bang Fair 2020 here we come!

14 January 2020 | School News

Congratulations to three of our talented Year 11 students who are off to compete at the Big Bang Fair in the NEC, Birmingham in March.  The team will compete with 81 other teams in this national competition, having secured a place in the final with their exciting online competition entry – the only Wirral entry chosen through this route.  The team have a proven flair and passion for design and we wish them all very good luck with their entry, a Water Aid Filtration Crate!

The Big Bang Competition recognises and rewards young people’s achievements in all areas of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM), whilst providing them with the opportunity to build their skills and confidence in project-based work. Finalists compete for over £20,000 worth of prizes, including top and runner-up prizes in the Junior, Intermediate and Senior categories for science and engineering, as well as the coveted titles of GSK UK Young Engineer of the Year and GSK UK Young Scientist.
