Shortlisted for the World Class School Quality Mark School of the Year
We are delighted to announce that Weatherhead High School has been shortlisted for the World Class School Quality Mark (WCSQM) School of the Year. The School of the Year Award exemplifies and role models what it means to be World Class with typicality and consistency.
Schools that are shortlisted for School of the Year demonstrate that they:
- offer the best education to students in the UK
- develop the World Class skills, competencies and characteristics which students need to flourish in an emerging global economy
- give students the confidence to overcome socio-economic barriers to recognise and achieve their potential

The winner of the WCSQM School of the Year will be announced at the WCSQM Awards Ceremony on 6th December, held at Oxford University’s Sheldonian Theatre.
As always, we are so very proud of our students and look forward to celebrating their successes at the ceremony next month.
