Pink Day Charity Fundraiser

Weatherhead 6th Form students have raised an impressive £1,028 (and counting) through their annual Pink Day charity fundraiser for Breast Cancer awareness.

The monies raised will be donated to the Breast Care Unit at Clatterbridge Hospital.

Fundraising events included the Pink Day talent show to a packed out theatre, staff and student cake sales, charity wristbands and pink themed fancy dress.

A friendly competition between the Year 12 and 13 students saw their common rooms transform into a sea of pink with banners, decorations, a throne and a ‘selfie booth’.
