Year 7 Parental Survey 2018-19

Year 7 parents and carers were invited to complete a survey about their child’s transition from primary school to Weatherhead High School. The survey was conducted at the autumn term Form Tutor’s evening and we received 110 responses – thank you.

We want to thank those participants for taking the time to complete the survey and to share the results with the Weatherhead School Community.

 

1. How would you describe the transition process from primary school to Weatherhead High School?

 

 

2. What were the key reasons for selecting Weatherhead High School?

 

“Excellent quality of education.”

“Summer school. My daughter LOVED attending in the Summer.”

“We thought it had a warm atmosphere and that the students were well mannered and behaved.”

“Phenomenal Headteacher’s speech. Great results. Happy, positive welcoming staff.”

“Great ethic and care for pupils.”

“Miss Brough has excellent communication skills.”

“My daughter is slightly dyslexic and felt this was the best place for her.”

“They are fair and treat children how they should be, and stay in contact with parents at all times.”
