Miss L Smith
Miss Smith is Weatherhead’s full time Careers Advisor based in school.
On a weekly basis, Miss Smith runs 1:1 interviews with students.
In addition, drop in sessions are available for both students and parents as required to discuss any issues relating to future plans, or to assist with the research and planning needed to help students maximise their opportunities.

Assistant Head - Specialist Provision
Assistant Headteacher, Mrs Moretta, has special focus on Higher Education, Careers and Work-Related Learning at Weatherhead through development of the following key areas for the school community:

Mrs G Jones
Work Related Learning
An extensive work experience programme is coordinated by Mrs Jones.
PSHCE lessons give Year 10 students additional information about the world of work leading to a week long work experience programme in the summer term. Year 7 and Year 8 students also receive careers sessions during the spring term.
Students studying A level Child Care, Health and Social Care and Vocational Curriculum attend external work experience placements as part of their course at Weatherhead.
Through the continuous networking of a dedicated support team, students at Weatherhead enjoy excellent links with industry and business partners, as well as advice, guidance and support to access higher and further education, training and diverse employment routes.
